Germination Sand Test	Duration @ 7 - 10 days: Seeds are grown under laboratory conditions
Germination Vitascope	Duration 1 day: This test is far quicker than sand testing, however if seed has been dried rapidly or at a high temperature or been desecrated prior to harvest, a sand test is recommended.
Thousand Grain Weight & Thousand Seed Weight	Duration 1 day
Disease Tests in Cereals	Duration @ 8 - 10 days: Loose smut, Fusarium, Bunt, Leaf stripe, Net blotch
Oil Seed Rape
Germination Sand Test	Duration @ 7 - 10 days: Weight required 250g.
Pulses
Germination Sand Test	Duration @ 7 - 9 days: Weight of seed required 500g.
Ascochyta	Duration 14 days: Weight of seed required 500g.
Stem Nematode	Duration @ 3 - 5 days: Weight of seed required 500g.
Linseed
Germination Sand Test	Duration 14 days: Weight of seed required 500g.
Alternaria	Duration 14 days: Alternaria, Botrytis< Phoma, Fusarium & Anthracnose. Weight of seed required 500g.
